Essays are divided according to the way in which they are written. The two most common styles are the article, which will be an essay that presents its principal thesis statement (the major argument for the conclusion), and the descriptive essay, which will be a more general variant of the argumentative style. At the former, the principal thesis is the point of view of this author, whereas in the latter the main thesis is accepted of all the literature regarding the subject that is argued. He presents his situation and points out the strengths and flaws of his views. The conclusion gives the settlement to the debate. The introduction is a primer, and it normally offers some information regarding the author and his background, so the reader could learn about him and decide for himself.
